Research

In many of the following research summaries the term ‘manual therapy treatments’ is mentioned. This refers to manipulations done by Chiropractors. In England and North America, where most of these studies are done and published, there are no Manual Therapists as we know them in Holland. Manual therapy is the description of what a chiropractor does. The profession of Manual Therapies in Holland is a much younger profession than Chiropractic; with a considerably inferior education and training. However, their use of our treatment method as their profession’s name may make it appear as if they provide the same treatment as a Chiropractor. This is not at all the case.
